In cases which the officer does not have adequate skills on investigative methods it leads to low chance of him surviving in the dynamic components of the law. However this can be solved by having structured training which will avoid the chances of officers being on a tight spot while enforcing law hence making him updated with law enforcement issues (Glasgow et al, 2010).

Proper choices should be made while hiring police a case in mind is unbalanced hiring of police officers. This should not be the case because it wastes resources and results in unjustifiable promotions because of large workforce and may also compromise police officers effectiveness. It is satisfactory to embrace technology but in most cases technology is usually not spread out well in a nation, for instance; remote areas lack internet connection. It is not warranted that every officer will effectively put into practice the learnt skills, some might have just memorized it for the sake of examinations and therefore impromptu test should come in hand.
