Had God been your biological Dad,

All caring and protecting you,

Could you trust him with your financial distress?

Knowing the abundance of His richness and love,

That He owns the whole wide world.

Had God been your Mother,

Could you trust him with your tears and burdens?

Could you tell it all to Him?

Knowing that He loves you irrespective,

That He’ll stand by you when everyone else scatters.

If God were your best friend,

Could you love and laugh with Him?

Let go and be yourself when with Him?

Long for long walks and talks with Him?

Lean on Him and forget all your cares?

If God were the love of your life,

Could you spare more time to thank Him?

For all those good things that He has accomplished for you,

Could you call Him your love and mean it?

Could you be faithful only to Him?

If God were your personal physician,

Could you trust Him with your aches?

Take his prescription without question?

Believe that, with Him your health is assured?

Knowing He shares in your aches and discomfort

And what holds you back,

From letting go of all the pain within,

When all you ever wanted is within reach..

When all you need do is reaching out,

And eternal peace and contentment you’ll claim.

No need for hate

My heart finds no need for hating,

For revenging or firing,

My mind has no room,

For such thoughts as these

I’m short of words regarding this,

It’s just a true feeling,

I feel from deepest part

I ought to find forgiveness.

The hurt that has been done

Cuts sore just like knives,

Yet we ought not to repay,

Whatever has perpetrated on us.

Instead we ought to endeavor to find,

The way that’s so hard,

And extend the loving hands,

And find friendship now.

There may be no healing thing

Than opening our eyes wide

And seeing the most of other folk

Are really like us.
