Organization:  This speech utilizes topical organization.

Audience analysis: my audience consists of a group of people whose major concern is using creativity to enhance fiction. The audience will consist of 14 people of equal gender representation. Hence, there shall be equal number of males and females in the group. The age gap of the audience spans between 18 and 25 years. The setting of the speech will be an ordinary art room. All the members are eager to know about the historical development of recreational parks.

Teaching Aid: Power Point slides will be used via a projector in front of the audience to display pictures of Walt Disney, Disney World, and several of his animation characters, for example, Mickey Mouse.

Walt Disney exhibited admirable leadership qualities in the animation production industry, a quality that earned a number of recognitions, not only in America, but also in other nations of the world. A. By the time Walt Disney was dying; he earned the most awards among key players in the entertainment industry, for example, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and French Legion of Honor (Gitlin 89). Despite the disappointments Walt Disney encountered in developing his talent, he never gave up. B. Referring to one incident, Williams and Denney remarked that “Another early crisis in Walt Disney’s career tested his leadership ability and revealed what authentic leadership is all about. There is much we can learn about leadership by emulating Walt’s strengths and avoiding his mistakes” (73).  II. As a producer Walt Disney had not only perfected the art of creating visual representations for his animations, but he could also transfer the same skills in the actual vocals. As a result, Walt Disney was able to demonstrate to the world that his passion for animation was inherent by giving ‘real life’ to the visual animated objects.  A. For example, he provided the high pitched voice of the character Mickey Mouse for a significant amount of time. In a way, by using his own voice Walt Disney succeeded to give the characters a definitive role to play. III. Walt Disney created animated characters that were able to successfully blend into the American culture as entertainment icons. As a result, the characters created by Walt Disney ended up blending almost like real life personalities in the human society in which they were increasingly becoming popular. A. According to Sutcliffe “Mickey Mouse was a movie star. His name was in theatre signs. He got fan letters. Soon, cities and towns all over the country had Mickey Mouse Clubs” (21). B. In essence, Disney has become an embodiment of American culture, consequently featuring as the ‘Stories R Us’ from generation to generation. C. The image of Disney has transformed into an representative icon of American culture, which is further enhanced by the penetration of Disney Empire into the social life cycle of every American.
  6. VI.          Conclusion: In conclusion, I would like to reaffirm Walt Disney’s undying determination to take the fiction industry to level no other production company has done before.
