The preaching’s of Feigenbaum and Ishikawa both administer about the proper time management in organizations. Ishikawa preaching’s more applicable to organization performance than those of Feigenbaum. Ishikawa enhances that in order to be able to manage time well in an organization; it must be a collective role that all members of staff in an organization should take part so as to ensure that it attains its aims. However, there are factors that make school of thought be different from other disciplines. The first is that it has no maximum attainment level as it advocates that there is always room to improve. This creates an environment that enhances improving learning skills among the staff in an organization.

Secondly is that it focuses on the customer satisfaction rather than the profit as it gives the organization a respectable image to the public thus attracting customer rapport. Thirdly is that it enhances the team work spirit as the organization is all about the good relationship that exist among the staffs. This will ensure that quality services benefit everyone working in the organization.

Lastly is the fact that all employees in an organization should take responsibility to correct a mistake without blaming the others. This ensures that all employees are the responsibility and feel part of the organization. This motivates staff thus to work towards the benefit of the organization. When there is a fault in the systems of an organization Ishikawa, insists that, it should not mean that no work can be done rather people should combine efforts to fix the problem and carry on with work as usual. Instead of wasting time lamenting that the systems are not working. This builds up the team work spirit and prevents waste of time as time is extremely essential in the production (Brian, 2007).

Robust design by Genichi Taguchi mainly helps in improving productivity among the staff in an organization. This helps in improving the quality of service to ensure there is customer satisfaction. It is achievable through the reduction on costs and improving on the quality of services or products.

This design method is similar to the six sigma approach. It focuses on the issues that the six sigma approach uses to tackle productivity quality and management in organizations (Tennant ets al, 2001).  It helps the organizations to be more creative in innovating new products that tend to improve the existing ones, and still improve on the quality, performance and cost.

The Robust design ensures that all customers do not incur losses by compensating them. Incase there are faults in the organization service offered to customers, and ensure the supply and demand of products and services are equal to avoid shortage or flooding of these services or products. This will have negative impacts on the market and the organization would incur losses (Tennant ets al, 2001).  

According to Philip Crosby, the production of the superior quality goods first favors the organization image from the customer’s bias point of view even on the later innovated goods from the same organization rather than producing a poor quality then improving on it later. This will either attract or chase away customers from the organization (Brian, 2007This is evident in the case where the Americans were losing their customers to the Japanese due to the production of higher quality goods from the Japanese.

This was an inspiration to the Japanese from the American that there are many benefits of producing and maintaining high quality products in the markets. The customer satisfaction is always vital rather than the organization profit margins. The organizations should have quality programs that monitor quality of products or services. However, this will ensure that the quality of products improves. This will pay off all costs incurred during production as the organization will have a repeat customer thus maximizing on sales and consequently the profit margins will rise.
