Pejorative can be defined as a word of as a phrase that always have some negative connotations or gets to be intended to belittle or disparage. This can be sued to relate to the negative and unlawful use of force or threat use   of violence or force by a subject to another subject. This gets done with an intention of intimidating or coercing the government and society (Goldstein 2007).

How does an organization’s size and structure impact the length of a terrorist campaign?

Bigger organization tends to be always the number one target for terrorists. This is because the terrorists may be aiming at the financial statuses of the organizations and other valuables. In organizations that have a small structure, they tend to be more likely to face terrorism. This can be explained because most of the terrorists move in small groups, hence making smaller organizations more vulnerable.

What is meant by the “social context of terrorism”?

Social context of terrorism can be defined as the psychological approaches to the identification and realization of terrorism as it happens in ones social life (Goldstein 2007).

What are the strengths and weakness of typologies of terrorism addressed in your textbook?

In the typologies addressed in the book, the main strengths is that the gangs involved tends to be fully united. This can be because they can never work alone in having violence. The main weakness of the typologies is that they usually face a lot of opposition, including the law.

Discuss the tactical typology of terrorism, the geological typology of terrorism and the advantage of using typologies

In the tactical typology, there tends to be some serial activity for economic or psychological gratification. There are organized crimes by the gangs, which usually leads to rioting, disruption of the community and some civil disorders these activities may be stopped by the authorities making some responses which get oriented to the law enforcement. In some extent, the law enforcement may use force.

In the geology terrorism, the gang organizes themselves and the new members in the gang get introduced to the concept of world terror. Terrorism typologies can be considered to be useful in discerning the intricacies of the terrorist groups. The typologies can be set so as to get a better understanding of the terror activities. They appear to be more comprehensive than the basic definitions of terrorism. A typology usually gives space for a classification of the terrorism type to get checked (Rubin 2008).

What are the four major types of modern terrorism? Briefly describe each of these types of terrorism

The four types of modern terrorism include national separatist terrorism. This is the terrorism where the violence which gets undertaken by those seeking to of a separate state of their own ethics group or national. A good example is the Irish Republican Army.

The second terrorism type is the religious terrorism. This is where there is massive use of violence by those that seeks to further what they usually conceive as commands which tend to be divinely commanded. They usually target a broad category of foes in trying to bring about some sweeping changes (Zalman 2012).

The third terrorism is the right wing terrorism. This can be said to be where there is use of massive violence by people seeking to dispense with the governments that can be considered as liberal democratic. The fourth type of terrorism is the left wing terrorism. This can be said to be the terrorism that gets undertaken by the people who usually seek to have destruction of capitalism and replace it with a socialist or a communist regime. A good example of this is the Red Army Faction. (RAF) (Zalman 2012).
