If the Islamic doctrines are questioned they will be found to be quite wanting and insufficient to sustain the claims that sustain the religion. Andrew (2010) classifies the Islam religion among the cult which he claims uses information control to hide the truth about themselves. These cults avoid answering questions concerning their doctrines by posing restrictions which actually prohibits asking of questions. On the religion of Islam, Andres quotes enough portions from the Quran which prohibit asking of questions concerning the religion:

"O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102). "The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions ...so do not try to probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77) "The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) "Allah has hated you...[for] asking too many questions" (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591, Bukhari's Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.) The above portions are very important in the context of this paper because they help to show the position of the Islamic religion and how best it can be tackled in terms of defending Christian doctrines. It is believed that the Muslim controlled world is much information controlled to the extent that Muslims in those countries still have significant misinformation about the bible and Christianity.

The above quotes are from the Islamic doctrinal books which the Muslims are expected to adhere to without any questioning. From this point of view it can be argued that Muhammed knew about the voids in the religion and knew that information was going to be the biggest enemy for its survival. This has been carried forth to the modern day society and to a heightened level as Andrew (2010) puts it.[2] Still further there are verses which seem to indicate that the Quran is a book of personal opinions which seem not to fit for use but amusements:

"This [Islam] is nothing but a lie which he [Muhammad] has forged, and other have helped him do it... Fairy tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written; and they are dictated before him morning and evening." (Surah 25:4-5) "In their misguided arrogance they say, ‘we have heard such things before: they are pretty tales which have come down from ancient times: they are good for amusement, but who takes them seriously? The answer is that the Qur'an teaches spiritual knowledge of what is ordinarily hidden from men's sight, and such knowledge can only come from God to Whom alone is known the Mystery of the whole Creation.’" [3058-9] (Extracted from Andrew 1)

The above examination of the Islamic religion in relation asking of question shows that Muslims ought not to question their faith and therefore they must be following it religiously. The following section shows some of the issues that the Muslims believe about the bible which are found to baseless when the bible is consulted.
